Can a historic company turn around through digital?
Let's dispel any doubts immediately: yes, it's possible. This is what has happened to Cremonini Bike, a bicycle sales and repair shop based in Imola (BO) which, starting from its store on Via Emilia, has chosen the Web to expand its market - active since 1952 - outside the city walls.
The strategy adopted includes an approach to increase both traffic to the e-commerce portal (whose infrastructure was created by SocialCities) and to encourage people to visit the physical store. Social networks - Facebook and Instagram - were used both in organic versions and for Ads campaigns, afteranalysing the pages, competitors and the cycling sector in general, creating new graphic templates and tasks to encourage user involvement and interaction. The results rewarded the company: in just 6 months visits to the site increased by 700%, with a marked increase in page views per session and average session duration. On the social side, followers on Facebook and Instagram have increased and there has been a +339% increase in messages received.
