Microservice architectures

In recent years, the monolithic architecture of Web applications has been abandoned in favour of a microservice architecture based on granularised programming logic. This is a major revolution that has changed the paradigms of Web development.

The advantages are considerable and relate to the concept of system integration, as they lend themselves to an Agile working logic and facilitate communication between different software. It is therefore easier to link two different platforms.

API Rest: the advantages of using it

APIs (Application Programming Interfaces)are better known, even to those not working strictly in programming-related fields.

Specifically, it is a set of procedures that perform a precise task to enable a Web application to function correctly. The APIs are combined with the REST (Representational State Transfer) architecture, based on the HTTP protocol, in order to favour use according to the most famous commands in the web language, with advantages in terms of scalability, independence and usability in the client-server approach.

By using APIs, it is now possible to link two disconnected platforms with relative ease, with considerable advantages in terms of internationalisation and pure business operations.
